JERSEY DAY
The hockey and basketball playoffs have started. Baseball season is underway. We are having Jersey Day
this Friday, April 12th. Normally during Lent we ask for a loonie or toonie but all are invited to take part “for
free” Many of our students have been very generous in purchasing the Easter Raffle tickets.

EASTER RAFFLE
We are having an Easter Basket Raffle to raise funds for our Lenten Cause. Tickets will be on sale
from April 1st to 14th. Tickets are .25 each, 5 for a dollar. If you purchase online, tickets will be 10
for a dollar. Register at School Cash Online at https://ocsb.schoolcashonline.com/ . The draw will
take place on Tuesday, April 16th.

GRADUATION PICTURES
Friday, April 12th there will be graduation pictures for the SK and Grade 6s. Reminder to Grade 6
parents, if you wish a class composite return the form tomorrow.

SCHOOL SPIRIT WEAR
To encourage our school pride, we are going to be providing each student with a free St. Brother
Andre t-shirt. Also available for purchase are Long Sleeve T-Shirts and Hoodies. Pricing and

The deadline to order is April 18th. If you are not able to order online, contact Mrs. Benoit for a

PARENT PRESENTATION
St.Clare School Council invites you to join us to hear best selling parenting author, CBC Radio
parenting columnist, and mental health advocate Ann Douglas.
Her presentation Happy Parents, Happy Kids will focus on mental, physical and family health, as
well as parenting strategies that focus on the whole family, not just our kids. Ann will speak for
approximately 60-75 minutes and then answer
questions for 15-30 minutes.
The presentation takes place at St. Clare School, 2133 Gardenway Dr, Orléans on Wednesday, April

24th at 7pm. Feel free to call the school for further details.
