Dear Parents, As we conclude Week 5 of Distance Learning our thoughts and prayers are with the families impacted by the senseless violence that occured in Nova Scotia. It is a tragedy beyond comprehension and compounded with the impacts of Co-vid it makes it impossible for our communities to grieve normally.
I continue to hear positive comments regarding how Distance Learning is working for different families and I would like to take a moment to commend our amazing staff for all their efforts and to you, our families, for your compassion and flexibility.
Sincerely, Sean Crookshank Principal
School Closure Update: The Premier announced that schools and school-based child care centres will remain closed past May 4, 2020, to protect the health and safety of students and staff. This extension is being made on the advice of the Chief Medical Officer of Health of Ontario.
Picking up Essential Items or Devices from School: At this time, we are still under a state of emergency and only those deemed essential services should be leaving their homes. While many wish to retrieve personal belongings from the school, everyone is doing their part to slow down COVID-19 by staying home.
