Dear Parents and Guardians,

Happy New Year and hoping the Christmas Break was one of enjoyment with family.

As we have recently heard, students will be learning from home until Jan. 25th (at the earliest).  This is a stressful time for all and we need to continue to be supportive of each other.  I am truly amazed at the patience and understanding that everyone is showing as we navigate the challenges of these times.  St. Brother André is a wonderful and compassionate community.

If we continue to show flexibility and understanding we will get through this.  Continue to check your email for updates from the board, school and classroom educators.

Blessings to everyone and stay safe,

Sean Crookshank

ATTENDANCE:   Just a reminder that Attendance is still being done by the Homeroom teachers at 8:30 and 12:15. If your child is going to be late to a Meet or not able to attend virtually, you may send a message to the homeroom teacher.  Once the attendance is done by the Homeroom Teacher, it is turned over to Mrs. Benoit who sends out the electronic message. If you forgot to let the teacher know and receive a message, please email the school with your child's name and reason for the Late or Absence. We are still required by the Ministry of Education to keep daily attendance records. We understand that technical issues can be a cause and we will work through these things with patience!  Phone Messages are also being monitored regularly, if you have any questions or concerns.
