Dress Purple

The Children's Aid Society of Ottawa (CASO) annually dedicates the month of October to spreading awareness about the Duty to Report and the community’s responsibility to “Speak up for Kids.” The campaign urges community members to report suspicions that a child is being abused or neglected, or at risk of being abused or neglected of abuse or neglect.

Marked by Dress Purple Day on October 24, 2019, the campaign's main goal is to keep children and youth safe by increasing public knowledge of child abuse and neglect and outline the steps to take to eradicate it.  We encourage staff and students to dress in purple on October 24, 2019.
