About Our School

The parents and students of St. Brother André Catholic School (formerly Elmridge Catholic) chose St. Brother André as its patron at the time of its 25th anniversary celebrations in 2002. In May 2005 the school's name was officially changed to Brother André. Following St. Brother André's canonization, the school's name was changed again to St Brother André in a ceremony in June of 2011. With St. Brother André as a model, the teachers and staff at St. Brother André Catholic School provide a welcoming atmosphere, working towards excellence in the promotion of the spiritual, intellectual, physical, social and emotional development of all students. Service to others and generosity to those in need is lived out as our Christian mandate.

Teachers and staff work together as a positive team providing many curricular and extra-curricular opportunities for students. St. Brother André is proud of the high student participation in its clubs and participation in board-wide tournaments.
